Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra wants Democratic Registrar of Voters Olga Vazquez to resign, in the wake of the election day voting fiasco. During a taping of Face the State that aired Sunday on WFSB, the mayor was asked whether he thinks Vazquez was competent, and Segarra said “no.”

Segarra also talked about what needs to be done to prevent another embarrassing Election Day and then our conversation turned to 2015 when I asked him “are you running for re-election?” The mayor told me he loves the job and will decide within 30 to 45 days on whether to seek a second full term.
