The headlines are troubling: cuts, layoffs, budget deficits. There is plenty of concern right now about the state budget crisis and the Connecticut economy, and we will discuss it this Sunday on Face the State.
We are joined by State Senator Tony Hwang, financial planner Matt Carbray of Ridgeline Financial, and Professor Fred Carstensen of UConn. Hwang, a Republican from Fairfield will talk about his party’s proposal to fix the deficit, and he’ll lend insight into state layoffs and what the state needs to do to improve Connecticut.
Carbray and Cartsensen will talk about the impact the fiscal crisis and the economy are having on ordinary taxpayers in Connecticut. Their prognosis is a bit unsettling.
Tune in for Face the State this Sunday morning at 11 on WFSB Channel 3.
