Democrats in Connecticut’s largest city and its capital city will head to the polls on Wednesday to choose their candidate for mayor in the November election. It’s been a summer of political drama with hotly contested races in Hartford and Bridgeport.
This Sunday on Face the State we discussed the candidates and the potential outcomes with two reporters who’ve been covering the races, Jeff Cohen of WNPR and Brian Lockhart of Hearst Media. We will also get analysis from a Democrat and Republican who’ve been through this primary thing, Mayor Marcia Leclerc of East Hartford and former Vernon Mayor Jason McCoy.
