A brave admission from one of Connecticut’s best known attorneys whom I have interviewed for several years as a legal expert. Former prosecutor and renowned defense attorney Ryan McGuigan is revealing his own personal battle in the hope of being able to help others. On “This Week in Connecticut” Sunday morning on WTNH, McGuigan shared that 15 years ago he had trouble with alcohol, that led to an intervention.

He has now created a new organization to assist those out there who have loved ones in similar circumstances. Alcoholism has affected thousands of families, including mine, and drug addictions are also tearing apart families and killing people.
