Back to back parades. That’s how we roll in Connecticut to kick off St. Patrick’s Day week. Hartford started off on Saturday (pics here: https://dennishouse.tv/2023/03/11/2023-hartford-st-patricks-day-parade/) and New Haven on Sunday. Milford also had its parade on Saturday and Bridgeport will celebrate on the 17th, the actual St. Patrick’s Day, and Mystic will hold a big parade on the 19th.

Once again the New Haven parade attracted thousands to the Elm City and the News 8 team and I marched down Chapel Street, past Yale University, and ending in front of the reviewing stand. My daughter accompanied us and helped carry the station banner. For those who couldn’t attend, the parade was broadcast on WTNH hosted by Darren Kramer and Laura Hutchinson.

It was great to see so many amazing performers in the parade, lots of viewers and some old friends, too decked out in their green. Awesome to see Hartford Whalers and Hartford Yard Goats gear warn by several in the streets of New Haven. Here are a few pictures I took and a few from friends.
