Introducing the “public parklet,” a novel idea that’s been implemented in Newport, Rhode Island.
It’s a solar powered place to relax, enjoy a coffee, and surf the internet, while your device is charging.
This particular one is near a coffee shop and several stores. I can think of several places in downtown Hartford where these would liven up a block. What do you think?
