20 years ago this week Hartford was the center of the political universe as Connecticut’s capital city hosted a presidential debate between Bill Clinton and Bob Dole. In our Face the State flashback this Sunday, you’ll see some clips from our debate special that aired on October 6th, 1996. Look for some familiar faces and you’ll get a kick out of the live, albeit slow web chat we did using mid-90s technology.
Also on the program we will discuss the controversial second chance program with Wolcott Police Chief Edward Stephens and Correction Commissioner Scott Semple. We will also have a discussion on Clinton and Trump with our pundits, communications consultant Patty McQueen, a Democrat, and radio talk show host and former congressional candidate Wayne Winsley, a Republican.
Join Susan Raff and me this Sunday morning at 11 on WFSB.
