The Small World that is Hartford

andy

One of the best photographers in the city of Hartford is Andy Hart, whose work appears in the Hartford News. Andy has captured some amazing images of our capital city, and he currently has an exhibit at the Hartford Public Library that is definitely worth checking out.

Sure, Andy has taken some post card quality shots of the skyline and many historic buildings here, but he really excels at capturing the diverse peoples who call our city home. There are people from all over the world living in Hartford, from Bhutan to Bolivia to Serbia to Guyana, and Andy’s photography really gives people a sense of the traditions and cultures that make Hartford such a great place to live, work and play.

Check out Andy Hart’s “Small World” exhibit at the Hartford Public Library through August 16th.

  1. hey dennis;

    with the 50th anniversary of the JFK Assassination coming up this november 22, what are you planning for a memorial?

    i’ve been studying the offcial records for 49 years and, have found that the only “provable” crimes committed in Dallas that eek-end were those committed by the authorities.i also have quite a voluminous website on the subject with official records taken from the warren commission’s 26 volumes of evidence/testimony along with the 14 volumes of the church committee and the house select committee on assassinationa’s 212 jfk volumes. i also have all of the Dllas newspapers from TAT eek-end with the original reports. i am also in touch withh lee Oswald’s widow, Marina.

    it was Pat Sheehan himself who got me startd back in 1968 when he worked at Manchester radio station “WINF”.
