The Connecticut Catholic bishops are not happy with what the Democratic candidates for the U.S. senate had to say about abortion during Sunday’s Face the State debate on WFSB. The candidates, Susan Bysiewicz, Chris Murphy, William Tong, Lee Whitnum and Matthew Oakes, were asked by debate panelist Brian Lockhart of Hearst Newspapers, if they believe Catholic hospitals should be required to perform abortions.
