Hartford City Council member Matt Ritter is one step closer to the state legislature. Late today a judge denied State Representative Ken Green’s request to overturn the results of the Democratic primary election in August, which in a recount gave the victory to Ritter by two votes.
“I’ve won twice,” Ritter told me tonight as he celebrated. Judge Susan Peck read a 35 minute decision today saying there was no evidence to support Green’s request.
In an irrelevant six degrees of separation thing, Judge Peck used to own the brownstone that Kara and I later owned.
