The week of pomp and circumstance and tradition dating back to the 1700s is over, and now Governor Malloy is working on his second term agenda. What does he hope to accomplish, and does a stronger Republican party stand in his way?
We will get some opinions this week from the chairwoman of the Connecticut Democratic Party, Nancy Dinardo. Dinardo is leaving her post at the end of the month after ten years on the job. For the Republican viewpoint, we brought in Jodi Latina, a press secretary for Republicans in the Senate, a former analyst on Capitol Report, and before that a well known television reporter in our state.
Latina is one of many of my former colleagues in the television business who’ve made appearances on Face the State. Read more the other folks right here: https://dennishouse.tv/2013/09/27/life-after-television-news/
In our Face the State flashback this Sunday we take you back 24 years to when one of the longest serving governors was leaving office. Our report from Duby McDowell on Governor Bill O’Neill is a must see for history buffs, or those who remember the O’Neill era.
Join us this Sunday morning at 11 for Face the State, only on WFSB Channel 3.
