We are seeing some movement in the race for mayor of Hartford. Last month, Mayor Pedro Segarra appeared on Face the State and suggested he was leaning toward running for re-election. Since then, a handful of people have expressed interest in running, and this Sunday we are joined by one of them, attorney John Gale.

Gale, a lifelong Hartfordite, is the first potential candidate to open an exploratory campaign and you’ll hear from him this Sunday at 11AM on Face the State, only on Channel 3.

We are also joined this Sunday by Congressman John Larson, who is talking about the new national park, and we also chat with a member of the Democratic state central committee about Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren as a presidential candidate.
