This week on Face the State we are talking about the Rowland Trial, the race for governor and the race for congress in the 5th district. We are joined by the Republican candidate for CT-5, Litchfield businessman Mark Greenberg. Greenberg is also a key witness in the case against former governor John Rowland.
For legal insight on the trial, we brought in frequent Face the State guest Ryan McGuigan, a Hartford attorney and former prosecutor. Also on Face the State to talk about the trial, CT-5 and the governor’s race, is Matt DeRienzo, also a FTS vet and editor of Connecticut Magazine.
Our taping came just a few days after a visit to Connecticut by former President Bill Clinton, who was here to raise money for the state Democrat party and drum up support for Governor Dannel Malloy. Fittingly, our flashback this Sunday is a report from 1994, when Clinton came here to campaign for the Democrat running for governor that year, Bill Curry.
Join us for Face the State this Sunday at 11AM on WFSB Channel 3
