This week I got a tour of downtown New Britain by the Hardware City’s biggest cheerleader, Mayor Erin Stewart, who showed me some of the new projects on tap, that she says will transform her hometown. We got a sneak peek at the future, but what about her future?

Last year Stewart announced she would not run for governor, and ruled out a run for higher office in 2022. People have a way of changing their minds, so I asked her “if Bob Stefanowski asked you to be his running mate and run for lieutenant governor what would you say?”
