
This spring marks 25 years since the Hartford Whalers left Connecticut for Raleigh, North Carolina. Amazingly, the iconic green and blue logo is still a hot seller on t-shirts, hats and other merchandise, in fact it is reported to be one of the top selling NHL teams in the nation.
Why does it have it such staying power? Watch my ” This Week in Connecticut ” interview with the creator of the logo and his wife, who made some product prototypes back in 1979.
