Domestic violence has seen an uptick during the pandemic, and with the colder weather coming, there is fear it could climb again. Hartford based Interval House is here to help. 2020 has been a tough year for people in violent relationships and if you know someone who needs help, there are experts standing by.
The first place to turn to is the Interval House hotline, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I’m honored to be a part of Interval House, as a member of the group “Men Who Make a Difference.” I became involved more than ten years ago. There are some great gentlemen on this board who help spread the good word of Interval House and stand up for women in potentially dangerous relationships.
Mary-Jane Foster is the head of Interval House and is very committed to helping victims get to a safe place and lead better lives.
Your support of Interval House is greatly appreciated. You can help by making a donation at the link below, or even wearing purple during this Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Post a pic or share this post so someone who needs help, but may be afraid to ask for it, will see it.
