Petitioning Candidates Hit Pavement; End of an Era at the HPD

The ballots for the August 14th primary are far from set. On Sunday on Face the State we talked with two candidates for governor who are trying to get on the ballot through signatures, Independent Oz Griebel and Republican Bob Stefanowski. Griebel, joined by his running mate Monte Frank, talked about their petition process as did Stefanowski.

Also on the program, Deputy Chief Brian Foley, who is retiring from Hartford Police. Foley is an old friend of the city’s and of mine, and he talks about the changes in policing during his career. Watch that here: http://www.wfsb.com/clip/14372705/changes-are-being-made-at-the-hartford-police-dept
