Our vintage Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon hit the big 6-0 over the weekend: passing the 60,000 mile mark on the odometer.   That averages to just under 3,000 miles a year on our 1996 cruiser.

The fall means putting the surfboards away, and our beloved station wagon turns to duties like hauling hockey and football equipment and pumpkins!

This year we hit up Flamig Farm in Simsbury, where llamas and pigs are also on hand.   My son asked if a llama would fit in the Roadmaster.  Yes, it would, but I’m not sure the red velour interior is suitable for farm animals.
