I stopped in to see my buddy Ihor Stelmach at  Parade of Novelties at the Westfarms Mall recently and was thrilled to see some hot new Whalers stuff on display.  Wonder if I can convince Kara that a clock with the beloved logo would look good in the kitchen?  Can you say man cave?

Ihor’s Parade has Hartford Yard Goats gear, and some items with retro team logos like the the long defunct Minnesota North Stars and Montreal Expos.  Ask to see the Frame of Fame.    The great Steve Levy of ESPN has signed it among others.

The bad news?  Ihor told me the manufacturer has discontinued the toy Whalers Zamboni i picked up there a few years ago.  The story behind that is below.
