“Car 54, where are you?” It’s in Essex, Connecticut.
You never know what you’ll find on Ebay. I discovered this 1963 Chrysler New Yorker police cruiser for sale right here in Connecticut. It’s been restored and is in remarkable. Chryslers of that era also sported oval steering wheels and push button transmissions.
In the early 1960s sitcom “Car 54, Where Are You?” the police cruiser was a Plymouth Savoy and not a Chrysler. Not sure of the history of this cop car, but the here’s the ad at the Essex Motor Club and more pictures : http://essexmotorclub.com/listing/chrysler-new-yorker-1963/
A few years back, I found another police car for sale on Craigslist. Check that out there: https://dennishouse.tv/2014/08/29/how-to-own-a-police-cruiser/

Dennis,
Can you please explain why you have not covered the story of Torrington High School’s vice principal Derek Bonet? He was put on leave this week due to charges filed against him by teachers. You have been very quick to cover stories about Eric Baim, citing only the negatives, and broadcasting nothing about teachers and students who have demonstrated total support for him. My husband and I are faithful viewers of. WFSB and have been extremely disappointed in the way this has been covered. Marylou Raider
