My brother Chris and I enjoying a snow day during the Winter of ’71 in Norwood
When I was kid we loved snow days. A day off from school meant an unexpected day to play in the snow.
Now that I’m a parent I feel much differently, especially considering I am in a business where snow days mean you still to come in to work, and might stay there longer. Besides, we’ve had so many snow days this winter my kids are no longer excited about playing in the white stuff.
Summer can’t fast enough.

Spring can’t come soon enough. I am sooooooooo tired of snow and cold. I want to wear my flip flops.

That’s an occupational hazard if being a parent, Dennis! I’ve been doing it for 27 years, and it doesn’t get any easier. Good luck!
