I went out on a limb and made a prediction about Mitt Romney’s running mate, that was picked up by the Huffington Post. After some careful thought, I guessed Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn.

Pontification hat on– Due to Romney’s weaknesses he must have a strong VP pick. Strength is numbers, the only current Bush holdover young enough and strong enough with numbers would be Condoleeza Rice.. or would she be too strong over shadowing him? Guess we’ll see in a few weeks. Back to my gopher hole.

Dennis, Romney would do well to pick Condoleeza Rice, But her stand on Choice seems a deal breaker. I agree with your choice on Marsha Blackburn. I would like to see him go outside the box,……….but I’m keeping that name close to the vest……Let’s see if it brings a wider discussion on the picks.
No doubt he should announce the choice before the convention.
