On Sunday morning we had a special live edition of Face the State dedicated to covering the Democratic State Convention and the race for the U.S, Senate. We were joned by Congressman Chris Murphy, who won the party’s endorsement at the convention, and former Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz, who received enough delegates to trigger a primary.
This will be the first Democratic primary battle for a senate seat in our state since the Ned Lamont and Joe Lieberman contest of 2006.
We were also joined on Face the State this morning with our WFSB analysts Duby McDowell and Brian Flaherty. Our flashback took us back to the 1994 Democratic convention. http://dennishouse.wordpress.com/2012/05/11/face-the-state-flashback-the-1994-democratic-convention/
