Apartments Coming to Constitution Plaza?

A source has told Eyewitness News a deal is in the works to convert the old Hotel America/Summit/Sonesta Clarion Hotel on Constitution Plaza into apartments, aimed at young professionals.   I’m told the long abandoned hotel is the subject of talks between the city and a developer, interested in the site because of it proximity to Adriaen’s Landing.

The hotel closed in the 1990s.

  1. What a great bit of news! We walk our dogs through Constitution Plaza from time to time, and think that this hotel is kind of cool. Would make great apartments, right in downtown but located on a quiet plaza.

  2. I’m researching on various ways to improve tenant relationship vis a vis management companies. At the moment, a tenant find an apartment for rent and the relationship stops there. I’m curious to know what will happen if the apartment locator is able to develop a profound relationship with the management company which he can relate to the future tenant. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.
