Embattled Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez will not address the Democratic Convention tonight. Tradition dictates the host mayor opens the convention, and Perez has done this in years past.
A party spokeswoman gave no reason for the change, simply saying “he is not on the agenda.”

Eddie was going to give a speech but word is he could not make weight and fit into Hooters shorts. Boy, does Channel 3 love that story! You ran it twice. ‘These are real stories folks. We aren’t making them up.’ Now, that ought to roll every hour in the station promos!
