Mike Peters and his Fight for Life

Former Hartford Mayor Mike Peters may need a liver transplant.   He shared his diagnosis with me in an Eyewitness News Special Report.    Watch it here:

You can also leave comments for the mayor right here, and I’ll make sure he sees them.

  1. Mayor Mike,
My husband and I have visited your restaurant on numerous occasions and enjoyed your company each time you sat with us for a quick second or several minutes.

Please know that we wish you the best and you are in our prayers.

  3. Mayor Mike,

You hang in there! I’ll never forget when you sat on the WFSB set with me and Mika Brzesinski during the Blizzard of 1996 and gave all city employees the day off so no one would get hurt driving to work. The city fought you on that one, but you stuck to your guns.

I still have that old picture you sold to me when you did the auction at the closing of Brown Thompson & Co (now City Steam).

You’ve always had the good of the people at heart. You’ve always had heart. Period.

    Get well soon Mike.
