We love eating on the patio at the Mill on the river here in South Windsor. We are so fortunate that we are just next-door to it too! So it’s like eating in the neighborhood in luxury and seeing friends and neighbors! We love the family that owns it and they always come over and talk the food is delicious the service is impeccable.

Olive Oyl’s on Main Street in Essex is a great place to stop by for some delicious food. Everything from great breakfast sandwiches to already prepared dinner items with yummy sandwiches and baked goods too! They’ve also got great coffee. When you’re done you can stroll about downtown Essex or visit the Connecticut River museum.

Edison grille in Harwinton! Yum! Their breakfast – try the coconut crunchy French toast! The best!!!! For lunch. Pretzel encrusted chicken. Their Mac and cheese! Inside and outside and takeout dining. Beautiful area of the state too! A great find.
