Thanks to our WFSB newsroom administrative assistant Sarah Dahlstrom, who found this gem in her basement.  A New Haven Nighthawks puck, complete with the Channel 3 logo.  It was given out to viewers as a promotional item during the 1990-1991 season.

The Nighthawks were a minor league team that played for 22 years, often in the shadow of their major league neighbor in Hartford, the Whalers.    We handed out Whalers swag, too
