Fresh of his victory in the Hartford Democratic primary, Luke Bronin was our guest this Sunday on Face the State. Bronin talked about his agenda for the seven weeks until election day, and also what he plans to do if elected. I asked him about the leadership of the police and fire departments, the business climate and more.
Also Sunday, we aired some old film of Nick Carbone, the former city council member whose name was synonymous with Hartford. He died this week after a battle with leukemia at the age of 78. I dug around in the WFSB archives and found some clips of Carbone from 1978, when he rushed to the Hartford Civic Center after the roof collapsed.
