In response to my challenge made on the 11PM news last night at 11, Ted Kennedy, Junior promptly responded with an icy dousing that led to a priceless reaction to a bucket of frigid water and ice cubes being dumped on one’s head. In a video taped late today, the Democratic candidate for the Connecticut State Senate from Branford delivered a poignant message about being a survivor of pediatric cancer and how important it is to find a cure for ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly called “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”
The alumnus of the University of Connecticut Law School in Hartford also talked about the value of research at UConn, and wore a Huskies t-shirt as he accepted the challenge, and in turn challenged university president Susan Herbst.
