Republican candidate for governor Mark Boughton took aim at rival Tom Foley on Sunday’s Face the State, suggesting the 2010 nominee can’t beat Governor Malloy in the fall.
The Danbury mayor said Foley should have “slam dunked” convention yet 40 percent want another nominee. He also told me Foley has maxed out his support, after spending $12 million dollars in 2010.

Boughton was dumped by Somers. As a person very familiar with the word, dumped, I think that was a great strategic move by Heather Somers. She knows what’s coming.

This has become wearisomely typical of Mark. Boughton, he takes a cheap shot at the GOP candidate while offering no solutions to the state’s myriad problems.
This isn’t leadership, it’s schoolyard juvenility.
