Former U.S. Comptroller General David Walker has been the subject of much speculation recently about a potential run for office. Walker, who worked in Washington during the presidencies of Reagan, Clinton and both presidents Bush appeared on Face the State last year with a harsh assessment of the Connecticut economy. As soon as the Bridgeport resident said the state needed “a course correction,” everyone started to wonder what Walker is going to run for.
This morning on Face the State on WFSB, Walker revealed his plans to file an exploratory campaign for lieutenant governor, and will make an announcement set for Monday at the State Capitol.
