The two Steeles in our studio
This week on Face the State we are joined by the scion of a legendary Connecticut broadcaster. Bob Steele is the son of the late Bob Steele who ruled the airwaves in our state for years.
The younger Steele served two years in Congress and now works as an author. His new book “the Curse, Big Time Gambling’s Seduction of a Small New England Town,” is fiction, but is based on a town near the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos. On Sunday’s broadcast Steele lays out his reasons for believing casino gambling is bad for our state, and why he thinks it will only get worse.
Tune in this Sunday at 11 on Face the State.
