Among those stopping by to celebrate Senator Dodd’s 36 year career in Washington:    Vice President Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Senator Joe Lieberman.  Roughly 50 senators attended his final speech and a greater number later for his sendoff.    The entire Connecticut congressional delegation was also there.

Flying in from Hartford:  Governor-elect Dan Malloy and Mayor Pedro Segarra. 

As for local media:  WTIC-TV’s Laurie Perez and Ryan Bernat, Daniela Altimari and John Woike of the Hartford Courant, Ted Mann of the New London Day, Don Michak of the Journal Inquirer, also representatives from the New Haven Register and Connecticut Mirror.  My apologies to anyone I didn’t see.
