I met Gayle King 32 years ago when I first moved from Michigan to Connecticut in August of 1992 to start my new job at WFSB. Gayle was super friendly and helpful and three years later we were co-anchors!
Gayle has gone on to great success since leaving Constitution Plaza in Hartford but is still the genuine funny super smart person that viewers grew to love many years ago.
Gayle made headlines when she made the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. She was honored and happy about it and I’m proud of her .
I recently had a long conversation with Gayle for my podcast “Conversations with Dennis House” for Seasons Magazines. We talked about the swimsuit shoot and how all that happened, her career, her kids and grandkids and so much more. You can listen to anywhere you listen to podcasts. Here’s a link to it https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seasons-magazines/episodes/Gayle-King-A-Personal-Conversation-e2klckd
If you get the magazine at home you can read about it in the summer 2024 issue but if you don’t you can read it here: https://seasonsmagazines.com/2024/06/gayle-king-speaks-to-dennis-house/
Here are a few pictures from way back when.
