Elephants in New England?

We checked out a very cool attraction this past weekend: “the Great Elephant Migration, a Coexistence story.” Dozens of life sized elephants are on display at three locations along the Newport Cliff Walk in Rhode Island. Our rescue chihuahua was dwarfed by these peaceful pachyderms which are for sale.

From the organizers: It promotes human-wildlife coexistence as a solution to biodiversity loss. The sculptures were created by The Coexistence Collective, a community of 200 indigenous artisans in the Nilgiri Hills of South India. They are made from lantana camara, an invasive weed that encroaches on wildlife habitat.
