The governor also weighed in on the mayoral election saga in Bridgeportt, going on for two months at great expense to state taxpayers.

“ I’d like to think he gets reelected. We close the door, we get back to governing in Bridgeport. It’s very expensive. .Joe Ganim has been elected three times in a row by accelerating margins. I’d like to think that this fourth time we’re going to have a mayor will be ready to govern”
