I learned so much about flight, planes and engineering during our interview and visit to Pratt’s plant in Middletown. I will never look at a jet the same way again.

“I love driving on I-95 to New York City,” said no one ever. That’s the mindset behind a new mode of transportation that will link Manhattan and Boston to Hartford and Bridgeport. Seaplanes will shuttle commuters to the Big Apple and Beantown in about a half hour.

Tailwind Air, based in Westchester County, New York is starting the service on August 3rd between Sikorsky Airport and lower Manhattan with Hartford to NYC and Hartford to Boston service starting next year. Check out our interview with Peter Manice below:
