What a week! I had the privilege of being a guest co-host on WTIC AM 1080 this past week sitting across from the legendary Ray Dunaway. We were separated by plexiglass, a new architectural feature of the Covid-19 era. I was in for the vacationing Joe D’Ambrosio and I had a blast!
After years in television, this was my first foray into radio, and it was a learning experience. I didn’t have to wear makeup, or a tie, and one day even broke out a vintage Hartford Whalers jersey.
Many thanks to the very talented team at WTIC/Entercom and to my radio brethren across Connecticut whom I picked up tips from.
As a news guy, I liked that we broke news this week. Governor Ned Lamont called in from his quarantine, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart revealed she plans to run for re-election for a final time, House Minority Leader announced she is considering a run for governor in 2022, and ESPN’s Steve Levy shared details about what goes into putting on a Monday Night Football production and how he helped his daughter with her hair. That’s just a bit of the great information our guests revealed to us.

Stay tuned, I might be back to fill-in again! Thanks WTIC!
