This week Governor Malloy sat with legislative leaders and talked finances over Fritos and sandwiches. On Face the State, we I met with some legislative leaders and talked up similar subjects over mugs of water. The food is definitely better in the cafeteria at the State Capitol complex than at the Face the State studios, but I digress.
Our guests on FTS this week are State Senator Bob Duff, Democrat of Norwalk and Senate Majority Leader, and State Senator Rob Kane, the Republican from Watertown who serves as deputy minority leader. We discussed a car taxes, the Registrars of Voters mess in Hartford and what they can do, tolls, even toilets, as in the ones not being added to newly built train stations.
The toilets at the stations story is getting a lot of buzz, and
Senator Duff weighed in: “go before you go.”
