Are Republicans Tom Foley and Lisa Wilson-Foley related?   That’s a question that has been posed to me a few times by viewers.

The answer: no, although the name of Foley’s ex-wife is coincidentally, Lisa Foley.      Lisa Foley’s name was in news reports earlier this summer, which may have created some confusion.  

There was some speculation that is one reason the two candidates didn’t pair up on a ticket at the convention.    We are told both candidates think highly of each other and have discussed the possibility they could be a ticket after Tuesday’s primary.
