I don’t know about you, but it seems to me the people of Connecticut seem happier, prouder and more optimistic about their state than they have in a while. Many are still basking in the glow of UConn’s big national championship win. The victory and the celebration parade really raised spirits from Salisbury to Stonington and united our state.

This Sunday I introduced you to two people who need no introduction, but whom you may not know much about. Two of our state’s biggest cheerleaders, UConn Coach Dan Hurley and his wife Andrea. They’re awesome. I think you’ll find them funny, super likeable and inspirational.

We talked about them, how they met, what makes this power couple tick, and how they stay grounded after reaching the pinnacle of college basketball.
