Fresh off his announcement that he is now an official candidate for governor, Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim was on Face the State this Sunday to talk about the latest chapter in his comeback from convicted felon to leader of the state’s largest city to running for the state’s top job.
I also asked Ganim about his history, which will no doubt be thrown at him during the campaign, and this week’s news about the speeding incident on the day his quest for the state capitol was launched.
Watch Ganim here:
Duby McDowell and Kevin Rennie were on hand for analysis, and some news with Rennie reporting he believes former Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz will run for governor, and “be a formidable candidate.” He also speculated about another potential candidate.
