Beverly Canepari and Lora Karam are friends who are the creators of the popular website of “Unlocking Connecticut.” These two find interesting things all across our great state and I learn so much from their stories, from restaurants to tourist attractions. Kara and I met them nearly five years ago on the historic New Milford green.

When they asked recently if they come to visit us in Hartford for their “in the garden” series, we instantly said “yes,” then Kara and I looked at our brown lawn and wilted hydrangeas and said we have work to do!
