Our Face the State flashback this Sunday was a report from 25 years ago this spring that looked at what a governor does on an average day. In 1993, that governor was Connecticut’s 85th chief executive, Lowell Weicker.
Channel 3’s Duby McDowell was granted unprecedented access to the governor, and learned what he cooks for breakfast (you may never guess,) his morning exercise routine, and she gave us insight into his life as a family man. On this particular day a quarter century ago, Governor Weicker traveled around the state, worked at his capitol office, deflected questions from reporters and much more. Look for the interaction between Weicker and Kevin Ollie.
