Connecticut is widely regarded as an older state, so where do millennials fit in?  That generation’s preference for public transportation and a cosmopolitan lifestyle played a role in General Electric’s decision to move from a suburban office park in Fairfield to Boston.   Millennials have also been driving the construction of hundreds of new apartments in downtown Hartford.

This Sunday on Face the State, we  talked about what millennials want in Connecticut, and how the state will have to change to accomodate the future.  Our two guests have their pulse on the millennial generation:  Julie Daly Meehan of HYPE (Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs,) and Kevin Begley of Star 99 FM, who lives in So No or South Norwalk, the trendy place for young people to live on the shoreline.
